Paradise Koh Li Pe, Thailand - end year Trip 2012

Koh Lipe is a small island in the Adang-Rawi Archipelago of the Andaman Sea, in the Satun Province of southwest Thailand, close to Malaysian border.The most common names are Koh Lipe, Koh Lipeh, Ko Lipey and Ko Lipe. Koh Lipe is on the border of the Tarutao National Marine Park and is directly south of the larger islands Ko Adang and Ko Rawi and about 50 km from the island of Ko Tarutao. Thaipusam is a Hindu festival celebrated mostly by the Tamil community on the full moon in the Tamil month of Thai (January/February). The word Thaipusam is derived from the month name Thai and Pusam, which refers to a star that is at its highest point during the festival. The festival commemorates the occasion when Parvati gave Murugan a vel "spear" so he could vanquish the evil demon Soorapadam. There is a misconception among people that Thaipusam marks Murugan's birthday; however, it is believed that Vaikhasi Vishakam, which falls in the Vaikhasi month (May/June), is Murugan's birthday.

Bukit Tabur

Mendaki Bukit Tabur, Taman Melawati, Kuala Lumpur bersama rakan-rakan memberi kelainan kepada peminat sukan rekreasi kerana keadaan bentuk muka bumi yang kebanyakan adalah terdiri dari batu kapur.
Merentasi pematang bukit selama lebih kurang 2 jam untuk sampai ke puncak telah memberi kepuasan kepada pendaki-pendaki kerana dapat melihat pemandangan kotaraya Kuala Lumpur serta hutan simpan serta dapat menghirup udara yang segar.
